프로그램 소개

  • 대상

    • JSR (고등부): 9–12학년

    • J-JSR (중등부): 7–8학년

  • 활동 내용

    • 3주마다 기사 1편 작성

    • 학생 에디터 및 편집장과 협업 (기획 → 작성 → 수정)

    • 모든 활동 영어 진행

📝 지원 방법

  • Registration Form 제출 (필수)

    • JSR(고등부) : 35th JSR Spring 2026 Registration Form을 클릭하여 작성 후 submit을 눌러주세요
    • J-JSR(중등부) : 17th J-JSR Spring 2026 Registration Form을 클릭하여 작성 후 submit을 눌러주세요.

  • 신규 지원자

    • Personal Statement (200~300 words, 구글 폼 내에서 제출)

  • 에디터 지원자 (이메일로 제출, jstudentboard@gmail.com)

    • Personal Statement + 추천서 (비가족)

    • 에디터는 리포터들을 이끄는 역할로, 책임감과 리더십이 아주 중요한 자리입니다. 관리 및 활동이 부족하면 에디터 자격을 박탈당할 수 있습니다.

  • 공통 제출

    • 증명사진 (셀피 제외, 구글 폼 내에서 제출)

💵 참가비

  • JSR (고등부)

    • 신규: $400 / 기존: $300

  • J-JSR (중등부)

    • 신규: $250 / 기존: $200

  • 할인

    • 중앙일보 신문 구독자: $50 할인 (할인 혜택 적용을 위해 Registration Form에 현재 신문을 선납 구독 중이신 어카운트 넘버를 입력해주시고, 213-368-2577로 전화주셔서 확인 절차를 거쳐주세요.)

    • 에디터로 선정시 참가비는 장학금으로 전액 면제됩니다.

  • 환불 규정
    • 단순 변심 또는 개안 알정 변경으로 인한 환불은 불가합니다.

  • JSR

    • New: $400 / Returning: $300

  • J-JSR

    • New: $250 / Returning: $200

  • Discount

    • $50 off for Korea Daily Newspaper subscribers (Subscription # must match for discount. If you are not sure about your subscription #, please call us at 213-368-2698 to verify.)

    • Students selected as editors(no assistant editors) receive a full scholarship to the program but must maintain their editorial responsibilities in order to keep it.

Please include payment with your registration. Please still apply even if you do not think that you can pay the fee — JSR offers scholarships to students who need financial assistance. To receive a scholarship form, ask for one by emailing jstudentboard@gmail.com. Students who apply for editorial positions may defer payment until after reporter selections are made.
